Про Amaya
Не все, що знаходить сканер, перебуває у вжитку. Частина знайденого є сигнатурою, яку лишив інструмент, що відпрацював одного разу багато років тому і більше не повертався. Amaya належить до другої категорії і є особливо ясним прикладом, бо продукт ніколи не був ані вебсервером, ані фреймворком. Програма була редактором і браузером, зробленим у W3C для перевірки стандартів, які ця організація писала.
Сторінка, написана в такій програмі, несе цей факт у своїй розмітці, у метаданих генератора, які редактори записують у голову документа. Наше виявлення читає саме цю сигнатуру. Отже, домен у цьому переліку не запускає жодного програмного забезпечення. Домен віддає документ, який написали в конкретному редакторі і який відтоді дожив донині, у цій частині незміненим.
Дати підкреслюють цю думку. Ми таки маємо подробиці про випуски, що для настільки старої сигнатури незвично. Настільки вузький розкид версій узгоджується з тим, що сигнатура насправді означає, а саме з малою і закритою сукупністю документів, заморожених на тій збірці, яку випадково мав їхній автор.
