.af Hakkında

.af alan adı uzantısı, Afganistan İslam Cumhuriyeti'nin ülke kodu üst düzey alan adıdır (ccTLD). Afganistan'ın internet ortamı, özellikle 2021 yılında Taliban'ın iktidara dönüşünün ardından çarpıcı ve çalkantılı değişimler geçirmiştir. İnternet penetrasyonu küresel standartlara göre nispeten düşük kalmakla birlikte, mobil bağlantı son on yılda önemli ölçüde genişlemiş ve milyonlarca Afgan akıllı telefonlar üzerinden çevrimiçi hizmetlere erişmektedir. Ülkenin telekomünikasyon altyapısı, çatışma, yoksulluk ve siyasi istikrarsızlık nedeniyle ciddi zorluklarla karşılaşmıştır.

.af kayıt sistemi, Afgan Telekom Düzenleme Kurumu tarafından yönetilir. Tarihsel olarak alan adı tescili hem yerel hem de uluslararası tescil sahiplerine açık olmuştur ve .af alan adları, bakanlıklar, bölgede faaliyet gösteren sivil toplum kuruluşları, Afgan meselelerini ele alan haber kuruluşları ve diaspora toplulukları tarafından kullanılmıştır. 2021'deki siyasi değişimler, ülkede alan adı yönetişimi ve internet politikası konusunda ek belirsizlikler getirmiştir, bu da .af'nin gelecekteki seyrini Afganistan'ın yönetişimi ve altyapısındaki daha geniş gelişmelere sıkı sıkıya bağlı hale getirmektedir.
