JsObservable supplies observable objects and arrays, meaning data structures that announce their own changes so a rendered view can update without the page being rebuilt by hand. Nobody reaches for a piece like that on its own. Filed under JavaScript libraries and written in JavaScript, JsObservable dates from 2012 and is distributed under the MIT license. The library arrived before the reactive frameworks that later made this pattern ordinary, and it was designed to be adopted piece by piece, which is why it turns up in long lived business applications where a full rewrite was never on the table.
