Built as a layer on top of WordPress and developed by InMotion Hosting, a hosting company, it reaches some sites through hosting partners that offer it inside an account and others through owners who download it and install it on whatever host they already have. A customer can accept a guided setup and end up running a builder, a theme framework and a plugin suite without ever having compared one against another. Reading the population that way changes the questions worth asking.
