# Request site removal

Own a domain that appears in our database and would rather it didn’t? Submit a removal request below. Our data is built from **public DNS, WHOIS/RDAP and registration records** , but if you’re the site owner, you can ask us to remove your domain’s profile and exclude it from future dataset exports.

- Who can request The domain’s owner or an authorized representative (for example, the company’s admin, legal or hosting contact). Requests for a domain you don’t control will be declined.

- We verify ownership To protect site owners, we confirm a request genuinely comes from the domain before acting on it. After you submit, we’ll reply with a quick step , typically a DNS TXT record or a reply from an email address on the domain.

- What happens next We reply within **1 business day**. Once ownership is verified, we remove your domain’s public profile and exclude it from future dataset exports.

- Your privacy rights Exercising a data-protection right (GDPR / UK GDPR)? Mention it in your message and we’ll handle it accordingly. See our [Privacy Policy](https://webatla.com/privacy).
